Description 

Discover the Agafay desert on a half-day camel ride from a magnificent oasis less than an hour from Marrakech. This stony desert offers spectacular views of arid hills with the Atlas Mountains in the background.

Our experienced team will welcome you with a briefing on the day’s activities.  You will receive a cheich (nomadic scarf) to protect you from the sun and add a traditional touch to your photos.

A traditional tea break is provided, where you can enjoy mint tea and local Moroccan specialities in a typical tent.

Half-day programme 

• Welcome: Briefing and presentation.
• Camel ride: Explore the landscapes of the Agafay desert.
• Tea break: Relax with mint tea and a Moroccan snack.
• Return: Transfer back to your accommodation in Marrakech.

What you need to know 

• Availability: All year round, with several departures a day. Consult the calendar for timetables.
• Duration: Approximately 4 hours, including welcome, walk and tea break.
• Children: Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Reduced rate for children.
• Privatization : Private tour option with dedicated guide available.
• Infrastructure : Departure base with office and toilets, open all year round.

What to expect 

• Documents : ID (passport, CIN or driving license).
• Equipment: Camera to capture memorable moments.
• Clothing: Closed shoes, comfortable clothing, sunscreen and warm clothing in winter. Avoid shorts or skirts, depending on local customs.
