The Agafay desert is a superb place for a quad ride, and even more so in Premium mode! Yes, Dunes & Desert offers you its famous quad day in premium mode: private transfer, dedicated guide and lunch in a luxury bivouac!

Just 45 minutes from the center of Marrakech, this is a unique place to discover during your next vacation in Marrakech: villages, canyons and oases are all on the program for this day, which is sure to be the highlight of your vacation. Our best equipment and guides will be at your service for this colorful experience.

After an equipment & safety briefing and initiation, you’ll set off for a superb day out. In the morning, you’ll set off to meet the locals, who will give you a warm welcome in their villages.

For lunch, you’ll stop off at a luxury bivouac in the heart of the Agafay desert.  Spectacular views of the High Atlas mountains, especially in spring. The second part of the day is just as enjoyable. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll explore new corners of the Agafay desert, finishing the tour in the late afternoon and taking home a wonderful souvenir.

What you need to know 

• Minimum 2 pilots for this Premium private experience.
• Exact meeting time confirmed the day before by phone or Whatsapp.
• Total duration approx. 8 hours: transfers, welcome and introductions, preparation, briefing, initiation, course, return to hotel.
• For your safety and comfort, the passenger option is not available for this day. If you don’t want to drive, there’s a single seat behind the guide (to be booked at stage 2, on the “Extras” page).
• Minors under 16 are accepted as passengers only, on the guide’s quad. Otherwise, think about mixing your adventure with one or more buggies!
• Minors aged 16 and over must have parental permission to ride a quad.
• We’re often asked if there are any dunes. Unfortunately, there aren’t any around Marrakech.
• Our quad guides are all Red Crescent certified (First Aid Training).

What to bring 

• Don’t forget your ID (passport, CIN or driving license).
• Don’t forget your camera for fun shots or to capture the great moments of the walk.
• We recommend wearing closed shoes, soft, comfortable clothing, sunscreen and warm clothing in winter. For your comfort and to respect local customs, we advise against wearing shorts or skirts.
• For your peace of mind, we recommend that you check that you have personal comprehensive insurance with repatriation cover.
