Description
Discover the splendors of the Imlil valley, in the heart of the Berber world of the Atlas mountains, and explore the village of Armd, literally carved out of the rock and planted at the top of one of the peaks. This is a family-friendly outing with options for walking or mule riding.
Your adventure begins with your private driver on a memorable morning drive through the Agafay Desert, renowned for its unique light and dune-like hills. Continue on to the Lalla Takerkoust dam, the cliff village of Aguergour, and the Kik plateau before reaching the landlocked valley leading to the village of Imlil.
There, mules and muleteers will be waiting for you for a discovery walk with several viewpoints over the Imlil valley. Discover the cultivation of walnut, cherry and apple trees typical of the region. On arrival at the summit of Armd, an authentic tajine lunch awaits you on the terrace of the highest family-run inn in the village. You will also visit the Berber village of Armd, whose narrow streets are carved out of stone, and whose inhabitants will be delighted to greet you.
Return to Marrakech via the magnificent road to Asni and Tahanaout. Enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains in winter.

FAQs
If you don’t feel comfortable to get on a mule, you always have the option of walking. Just keep in mind that the trail to get to the restaurant is a bit steep.
Tips are non-obligatory by definition, but are very popular with drivers and guides. If you feel that they have been great with you, do not hesitate to give something taking into consideration your level of satisfaction and the number of people in your group.
