Explore the Agafay desert (Marrakech desert) with your dedicated guide!

The program includes transfer from your hotel or nearest parking to your riad in Marrakech center to take you to our oasis on the edge of the desert. Our team will be waiting to equip you with all the equipment you’ll need and introduce you to the essentials of buggy driving.

You’ll leave for the slopes after an initiation, once all the drivers in your group are comfortable.

The day will be devoted to discovering the villages of the Agafay desert, its wadis and canyons up to the foothills of the Atlas mountains. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain walls as you ride along the most beautiful trails. Lunch will be served in a restaurant by the lake or in local's home.

After an afternoon of buggy riding, you’ll head off to the bivouac where you’ll spend the night. It’s been carefully selected by us, and you’ll be amazed by its comfort and charm.

The following day, for the second morning, new trails await you.

What you need to know 

• This activity is available all year round. Exact meeting time confirmed after the reception of the booking by email or WhatsApp.
•  The buggy is sold as two-seaters machine, Each buggy can accommodate 2 people (driver and passenger).
• A supplement is required if one person per Buggy.
• Total duration of one and a half days: we pick you up around 9:00 am on the first day and bring you back around 1:30 pm on the second day.
•  This Buggy tour is always exclusive with a private guide and is not shared with other participants.
•  A driver’s license is required to driver a Buggy.
• Minors under 18 are accepted as passengers only. Identification will be required on site.
• Minors aged 16 and over can pilot a quad with parental authorization.
• We’re often asked if there are sand dunes. There aren’t any around Marrakech.

What to bring 

• Don’t forget your ID (passport, CIN or driving license).
• Don’t forget your camera for cool shots or to capture the great panoramas of the Atlas mountains.
•  We recommend wearing closed shoes, soft, comfortable clothing, sunscreen and warm clothes in winter. For your comfort and to respect local customs, we advise against wearing shorts or skirts.
• For overnight bivouacs, bring comfortable clothes and shoes, as well as your usual toiletries. You’ll have your own private bathroom with a toilet and hot water.
• For your peace of mind, we recommend that you check that you have personal all-risks insurance with a repatriation option.
