Who are we?
The Company
Since 2006, Dunes & Desert has been offering the chance to discover Morocco in adventure mode! Discovering new horizons, going to the ends of the road, trying new things… this has always been a way of life for all team members.
Personally, we believe that each of our trips should be made up of real experiences and authentic adventures, and it’s exactly this “way of life” that we try to communicate to our visitors. Morocco is such a rich country that we do our utmost to ensure that everyone has a great time and leaves with stars in their eyes. There’s so much to see and do. What we want is for everyone to want to come back!
Dunes & Desert creation
Initially set up in Ouarzazate, it was in Marrakech from 2007 onwards that the adventure really took off. It was there, in the area of the Palmeraie and the Jbilets desert, that the team first set up to offer activities to international visitors. From 2015, the company also gradually moved into the Agafay desert to offer its customers magnificent trails at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. In 2020, with the pandemic, Dunes & Désert chose to reorganize its activities to keep only the Agafay desert site.
All our tours now depart from our oasis south of Marrakech. You’ll see it’s truly magnificent.
Why the name Dunes & Desert
The desert was our first passion. It started in Peru, where we had buggies in the immense dunes of the Ica desert, located south of the capital Lima. It’s an incredible place that gives anyone who discovers it a taste for adventure.
With the Peruvian experience behind us, it was Morocco that convinced and literally charmed us: it was the perfect country to quench all our desert thirsts. We found everything we needed: the Moroccan Sahara desert, its ergs of dunes and all its other riches. Hence the origin of the name.
Morocco brought us so many other things that, over time, we wanted to offer even more adventures: so Dunes & Desert has evolved to offer a range of activities to suit everyone’s needs during their stay in Morocco.
The team
The team is made up of almost 30 people, all of whom work to provide a seamless experience for our visitors.
The office team looks after pre-arrival customer relations and logistics, while the oasis team welcomes visitors and ensures that their experience lives up to expectations.
